This series explores the feeling of being contained behind a barrier that separates and distorts, a metaphor for the masks we wear in everyday life. The portraits follow an emotional journey: from tension and anger, through passivity, calm, and happiness, culminating in more explicit gestures of desire. The light, steam, and glass create an ambiguous experience, where proximity and distance blend, inviting us to question how we present ourselves and how others perceive us in situations of limit and refraction.
